Assembly elections in Delhi can be announced any time. Before the announcement of elections, Delhi Government has started the registration of Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana. This process has started from 23rd December. According to the plan, financial assistance of Rs 1000 will be given to the women of Delhi, if Aam Aadmi Party comes to power after the elections, this amount will be increased to Rs 2100.
The special thing is that this scheme will be applicable only to women living in Delhi. That means, to register under Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana, you will have to carry Aadhar card and Voter ID card of Delhi. Women will not be eligible for the scheme if they do not have Voter ID. Assembly elections are to be held in Delhi next year. It is believed that the Election Commission may announce the assembly elections in the first or second week of January. In such a situation, the process of making Voter ID of Delhi voters is going on at a fast pace by the Election Commission. How will the registration be done?
Women of Delhi will not have to stand in queues to apply for the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana. According to Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party team will go to every ward and register women. Women registering will have to carry their Voter ID card with them during this period. After registration, women will be given a card. They will have to keep this card safely. After this there will be verification. After verification, women will start getting the benefits of the scheme.
These women will be eligible
Only those women will be eligible for Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana, who are not taxpayers and are not taking pension benefits under any government scheme. The age of the woman should be above 18 years, apart from this she must have Delhi Voter ID card and Aadhar card. Government employees will not get the benefit of the scheme.
