Will robots now do kidney transplant? Know how it started in America

The world is changing rapidly. Technology is developing so fast that now robots are replacing humans in many fields. Recently this happened in the medical field. Actually, in a hospital in America, both the kidneys of a patient were transplanted through a robot-supported process. That is, both robots and doctors worked together in this transplant. Now in such a situation, it is natural for people to have this question in their minds that will robots replace doctors in the future?

Where did this happen in America?

This feat happened in Cleveland, a city in the state of Ohio, America. Both the kidneys of 70-year-old Joan Kukula, a resident of this place, had failed. She had to undergo a transplant. When Kukula met Dr. Mohammad Eltemami and his team at Cleveland Clinic for surgery, she was told that during her surgery, this team was going to do something that would become an example for human history.

Why is robotic surgery necessary?

There are many places in the human body where the surgical instruments used by humans cannot reach easily. But robots do it in a jiffy. Apart from this, robotic surgery is completely planned and it does everything on the basis of data, so the chances of mistakes are almost nil. Apart from this, in robotic surgery, the patient bleeds less and the incisions are also very less.

Such surgery was also done in Delhi

It is not that such surgery has been done only in America. Last year, such robot-supported surgery was also done in a hospital in the country’s capital Delhi. The biggest thing is that this was a successful surgery and a 32-year-old boy from Delhi was saved by this. Actually, this patient had a problem of blocked ureter and due to this the kidney of this boy started getting infected. In this surgery which lasted for three hours, the patient’s blood was shed very little and the body was also cut short.

Better for the future

Doctors believe that if this kind of surgery is successful, then robots can be used in many surgeries to come. This will not only make surgery quick for people, but their lives will also be at less risk. On the other hand, if in the coming time the technology becomes so high that only robots are able to do surgery without doctors, then surgery of people will be done easily even in those places where there are no good surgeons. On the other hand, with time, robot-supported surgery will also become cheaper for people.
