If you have seen Hollywood movies, then in many scenes you must have seen the driver himself filling the fuel in the car. And even if you haven’t seen it, it doesn’t matter. Just understand that like in our country, in every country there is no person standing at the petrol pump to fill oil, rather this work has to be done by oneself. Now think that even if you just have to take your car to the pump or gas station and park it at the right place and instead of you, someone who is not even a human does the work of filling the oil, then how will it work? Will remain
Let us tell you what is the matter without taking you into a maze. In fact, Danish startup Autofuel has developed a robot that fills fuel in a car at a petrol pump or gas station. That is, the driver of the car does not need to get down at this gas station. Fuel is filled through a robotic arm as soon as the car reaches it. According to the company, this is the first and only fuel station in the world to provide such a facility. And this gas station is in Finland. Let us tell you how the robot works at this fuel station.
Robotic gas station launches in Finland
Actually fuel station which is generally called petrol pump or gas station in India, this robot works with the help of sensor and camera. As soon as the car comes here, the camera reads its registration number plate and first decides which fuel is filled in it. It means that the car with petrol engine will be filled with petrol and gas will be filled in the car with gas, this robot gets to know by reading the number plate. After this, its second camera helps in giving directions to bring the car to the position where the fuel will be filled. Once the car is parked at its position, the robot works to open the fuel tank by opening the doors of the car. As soon as the fuel is filled, the sensor installed in this robot tells that the tank is full and the robot stops filling the fuel even before it overflows.
Now robots will not fill fuel
However, this facility is still in its very early stages. Many car drivers have also pointed out some flaws in their feedback. As the robot completes the fuel filling process very slowly. The company says that this has been done. Because according to the current regulation, there was a need to keep the speed low for safety during testing. Once the testing is complete, this robot will work at a very high speed. Similarly, there is a limitation that the robot will fill fuel only in those vehicles which are registered with the autofuel company. In such a situation, the car owners are also hesitating to share their information with the company. The Autofuel company has stated the purpose of fueling through robots is to reduce the harm caused to humans by hazardous chemicals and fuel components.
