A woman died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday in Sarai Azampur of Highway police station area of Mathura. The woman lived alone in the house. Son and husband have already died. The woman’s brother-in-law and aunt-in-law have expressed suspicion of murder. The police have preserved the remains while conducting post-mortem of the dead body. The case is being investigated.
Birma (50), wife of Bhagwan Das, resident of Sarai Azampur, Highway, lived alone in her house. The husband died of illness 20 years ago and the son four years ago. The woman was earning her living by working as a tandoor cook at weddings. On Tuesday morning, a woman who worked with Birma reached Birma’s house. He had to take Birma with him for tandoor work in a wedding.
The gate of Birma’s house did not open for a long time and there was no response from inside. He gathered people from the neighborhood. Police also reached the spot. When the police went inside the house, they found Birma lying dead. However, there is no injury mark on the body. But, aunt’s father-in-law Ramanlal and brother-in-law Rambabu said that they suspected Birma of being murdered. After the post mortem report comes, we will file a complaint based on it. According to Inspector Umesh Chandra Tripathi, further action will be taken on the basis of post-mortem report and complaint.
