Weird Tradition Around The World: The world is very big and people in every corner have their own traditions and customs. Some customs are observed only around us and some are such that we are stunned to hear them. You would often see only women following such traditions. For example, in African tribes, women have to be beaten by men and it is not customary to wear clothes.
You will be surprised to know that such traditions are found not only in far-flung tribes but also in our country, which hurt the existence of women. There are controversies about women’s clothes till date, but you will be surprised to know that there is a village in our country where women live without clothes for many days.
Women live without clothes for 5 days
In the name of orthodox traditions, women have to follow many such things, which they may not accept from their heart. A similar tradition has been going on for centuries in the Manikarna valley located in Himachal Pradesh. The women living in Pini village have to remain naked, that is, without clothes, for 5 days in a year. This tradition is performed in the month of Sawan and there is an interesting history behind it. However, in these 5 days, women do not come in front of men and remain locked inside the house and do not even laugh.
Due to the fear of being inauspicious, they follow the tradition
It is believed that centuries ago there was a demon, who used to take away the well-dressed married women in the village. Any woman who used to wear beautiful clothes, he used to take them and used to torture them. Eventually the gods saved the women by killing the demon. Since then this tradition is going on. If a woman does not play it, it is considered inauspicious. However, with time there has been a slight change in this tradition and women wear thin clothes and do not change it for 5 days.
