World Alzheimer’s Day 2024: Alzheimer’s is a disease related to the nervous system which directly affects the brain. Usually Alzheimer’s occurs with ageing but due to wrong lifestyle, nowadays this disease is also making younger people its victims. If seen, Alzheimer’s is a form of dementia related disease in which a person starts forgetting things and matters around him.

What is Alzheimer’s?
In Alzheimer’s, the connectivity of brain cells with each other decreases, which has a bad effect on the functioning of the person’s brain. During this, the nervous system is not able to function properly and the person’s ability to think and understand decreases. As a result, the person starts forgetting things, is unable to take decisions, loses his way, starts stammering while speaking, etc.
In Alzheimer’s disease, the patient fails to remember things, time and people. There is no known and concrete cause of Alzheimer’s but it is said that in some cases it is also genetic.
