Because when infected blood is transfused to another person, they may also be at risk of other serious diseases. A person who is himself suffering from any disease is not advised to donate blood.

Before donating blood, some important tests must be done. Because the medical history of the donor should be known. If someone has any genetic or serious disease, then such a person should avoid donating blood to another person. Many people recover from heart disease, infection and surgery, but taking their blood can prove dangerous later. Keeping in mind the safety of the patient, the medical history should be known. If a person is suffering from a serious disease, then he is advised not to donate blood.

People who are healthy, if they are not suffering from any serious disease and their age is less than 50 years, they can definitely donate blood. Also, keep in mind that people who are taking blood thinners, have ever suffered from jaundice, especially hepatitis B or C or have suffered from anemia have to avoid donating blood.
