For the last few years, the organizers have been doing many experiments regarding the height of the effigies of Ravana. But this time the world’s tallest Ravana has been built in Delhi. Here the effigy of Ravana has been built by Shri Ram Leela Society in Sector-10 of Dwarka area.
Completed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh
This effigy of Ravana is 211 feet high. Shri Ram Leela Society said that it took 4 months to prepare and install this structure. At the same time, 40 artisans worked day and night to make this effigy of Ravana. Not only this, more than Rs 30 lakh has been spent on making this effigy of Ravana. He told that nowadays around 1,000 to 2,000 people come here every day to take photos and videos of Ravana’s effigy, which is also going viral on social media.
Know what time Ravana Dahan will take place
Ram Leela Society told that here Ram Leela starts at 8:00 pm, which then continues till 12:00 am. He also said that Ravana Dahan will take place around 5:00 pm on the day of Dussehra.
Invitation has been sent to PM Modi
This Ravana will be burnt on the day of Dussehra on 12 October 2024 and for this the Society has also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the Society also said that till now there is no confirmation that the Prime Minister will reach here. No. He said that last time also the Prime Minister had come here and he hoped that this time too the Prime Minister would definitely come here and give him his blessings.
