The case is of Bara Pachrukhi Pahad of Jirawadi police station area of Sahibganj. Where on Tuesday, a person named Chunnu Pahadiya suddenly fell seriously ill. After which the family called 108 ambulance, but the ambulance did not arrive. After waiting for a long time, the family members carried the patient on a cot and walked several kilometers to reach Sadar Hospital. Where the patient was examined by Doctor Mukesh Kumar, a doctor on duty at Sadar Hospital.

The patient’s family member Bepara Pahariya said that on Tuesday, Chunnu Pahariya suddenly fell on the ground while urinating outside the house. After which he was being treated in the village itself, but when his condition did not improve, 108 ambulance was called. But even after a long wait, when the ambulance did not reach the village, they were forced to bring the patient to the hospital by hanging him on a cot made of bamboo.

When due to non-availability of ambulance, people of primitive tribal Pahadia community walk several kilometers and reach the hospital by hanging the patient on a cot.
