Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Re-Release Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is once again rocking the screens. The film, which was released in theaters for the first time in 2013, has once again hit the screens on January 3. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is getting good response from the audience and in terms of collections it is defeating even Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’.
According to the report of SACNL, the screen count of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ re-release has increased from 750 to 2,200 screens in the first weekend. On re-release, the film opened with Rs 1.20 crore on the first day. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ earned Rs 2.40 crore on the second day and Rs 3.25 crore on the third day. In this way, the film has earned Rs 6.85 crore on the first weekend of re-release.
‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ close to entering Rs 200 crore club
‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ also collected Rs 1.25 crore on Monday. When it was released in 2013, the film had earned a total of Rs 188.57 crore at the box office. Now with the collection of four days of re-release, the film has done a business of Rs 197 crore. That means now the film is close to entering the Rs 200 crore club.

‘Baby John’ was released in theaters on the occasion of Christmas. This is a remake of Tamil film ‘Theri’ which has been made at a cost of Rs 160 crores. However, the film could not collect even half of its budget at the box office.
