Now finally after keeping silent on this whole matter for months, Shehzada Dhami has broken her silence.
The director had insulted Shehzada Dhami on the set
The actor who plays Armaan Poddar in the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has revealed how it was not him but the director who behaved very unprofessionally with him. Recalling that incident, Shehzada cried several times. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shehzada Dhami recalled the time when the actors were shooting in Mahabaleshwar.
He said that he has a habit of thanking his director before starting the shooting. Shehzada went to the director and called him ‘bhai’ and asked how he was. The director turned back and said that he had 36 other things to do and he did not have time for such things. Shehzada says that he was shocked by this behaviour but he did not say anything.
When the director started shouting on the set
Shahzada further said, ‘Then he remembers another day when he was talking to an actor. The production person came and told Shahzada that the shot is ready. Shahzada said that he was about to go for the shot when the actor asked him to wait for a few seconds to complete the sentence. Shahzada remembers how the director came and shouted at him.
Shahzada says, ‘The director then told him that I will call you only once, next time I will blow you away.’ The actor also recalled how the director had told the crew not to call Shahzada ‘Sir’. Shahzada told how the entire team used to talk rudely to him.’ Recalling all these incidents happening on the set, Shahzada cried and told how he tried his best to endure everything as quietly as possible.
