Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University from time to time invites farmers to learn about mushroom production and also trains them.
The university training is not limited to mushroom cultivation only, now scientists also explain in detail about the method of making laddus from mushrooms. If you want to make mushroom laddus at home, then first of all you have to either grow mushrooms yourself or buy them from the market. After this, dry the mushrooms thoroughly in the sun and make powder.

Dr. Dayaram Singh, Head of the Mushroom Department of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, told Local 18 that to make mushroom laddus, you will need 1 kg gram flour, 500 grams ghee, sugar as per taste, 100 grams mushroom powder, coconut powder and cardamom powder along with other ingredients. First of all, heat the ghee on high flame. After this, put all the ingredients including gram flour on hot flame and fry them well. When the color of the mixture turns red, take it off the flame. After this, the laddu is wrapped around the grain of Pusta and given the shape of a fist. The laddu made from this is so delicious that no one will ever forget it after eating it.

He further told Local 18 that mushrooms are an excellent source of protein, dietary fiber and vitamin B-complex, including niacin, riboflavin, thiamine and pantothenic acid. They also contain selenium and trace elements such as zinc, magnesium and potassium. Additionally, mushrooms are high in antioxidants, which help reduce damage caused to the body’s cells by free radicals.
