According to doctors, even though raw sprouts are very beneficial for health. But harmful bacteria like Salmonella and E. Coli start growing in summer. According to the US FDA, every year there are 148 cases of foodborne illness from eating raw or lightly cooked sprouts. This is the reason why it is necessary to roast or heat sprouted grains before eating.

Salad

There is no doubt that salad is full of many health benefits. But you will be surprised to know that you can fall ill even after consuming it. Doctors say that the biggest source of salad contamination is water, which is used to irrigate the vegetables used in the salad. Harmful bacteria often seen on leafy greens include norovirus, E.coli, listeria, salmonella, and cyclosporine, which can prove dangerous, according to the CDC. Doctors say that instead of buying salad from the market, you should always eat fresh and home-made salad.
