During the summer season, women often face a lot of problems regarding vegetables, in such a situation today we are going to tell you about a traditional vegetable of Rajasthan, besides this you will also forget the taste of paneer. This is the traditional vegetable of Pitod. It will take you very less time to prepare this vegetable and its taste is so amazing that your family members will not stop praising you after eating it. This vegetable is being prepared traditionally in Rajasthan for years.

To make Pitod vegetable, one cup of buttermilk, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, roasted cumin powder, ginger, 2 green chillies chopped, oil, cumin and asafoetida will be required. For this, mix gram flour, buttermilk and all the spices well in a bowl. Mix 1/2 cup water also. Keep this solution for 10 minutes and heat oil in a pan, add cumin and asafoetida. Add gram flour batter. Cook while stirring continuously. When the batter becomes thick, spread it in an oiled plate and cut it after 10 minutes.

This is how gravy is prepared
1 cup curd, 2 teaspoons oil, asafoetida, whole coriander, fennel, cumin, one teaspoon ginger garlic paste, salt, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon 2 teaspoons garam masala powder, kasoori methi, 2 chopped green chillies, 1 chopped onion, green coriander.

Recipe – Mix coriander, turmeric and black pepper powder in curd. Heat oil in the pan. Add cumin, whole coriander, fennel, asafoetida. Add ginger garlic paste. After cooking for a while, also add green chillies and onions. After cooking well. Add curd and cook on high flame. Cook while stirring till the oil rises. Now reduce the gas and add 1 cup of water. After 10 minutes add Kasuri Methi to the Pitod. Cook for 5 more minutes. Add garam masala and turn off the gas. Garnish with green coriander. Rajasthan’s Pitod vegetable is ready.
