It is alleged that Shravan Kumar (30) son of Punwasi, a resident of Bajbahadur Rasulpur village, broke into the house of Akash Sonkar, a neighbour, on Friday night. Hearing the noise, the family members caught Shravan Sonkar and beat him up badly. On Saturday morning, Shravan’s family took him to the hospital in an injured condition. Where he died during treatment.

Upon receiving the information, Gambhirpur police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The deceased was the second among three brothers and used to support himself and his family by selling mango juice in Gosai Ki Bazaar. On receiving the news of his death, his wife Kavita and mother Shubhvata Devi became very upset and started crying.

The deceased was married a year ago, while his father alleged that the son was deliberately held hostage by the neighbors last night and beaten with sticks. Due to which he died. On the complaint of the family, Gambhirpur police registered a case against three people including Akash Sonkar.
