On Tuesday, in Anna Nagar area of IP Estate in central Delhi, a young man was stabbed to death with a brick and a knife to avenge the beating. The deceased has been identified as Nand Kishore Chaudhary (32). After the murder all the accused absconded. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody. Later the crime team and FSL collected evidence from the spot.
After initial investigation, the family members have accused seven-eight boys of Madrasi Colony located at Mori Gate of murder. The police is investigating after taking the statements of the family members. Investigation is being done with the help of CCTV cameras installed nearby. Police have identified some of the accused. Raids are being conducted in search of them. On the other hand, the police conducted post-mortem on Wednesday and handed over the body to the family. IP Estate police station is investigating the matter.
According to the police, Nand Kishore lived with his family in Anna Nagar of IP Estate. Apart from wife and three children, there is younger brother Chandrashekhar Kumar Choudhary in the family. Nand Kishore was originally a resident of Supaul, Bihar. Both the brothers have a clothing business near the Red Fort Jain Temple. Both brothers came home from the shop at 10 o’clock on Tuesday night. After having dinner at night, Nand Kishore left the house for Laghushanka. Meanwhile, seven-eight boys surrounded him and attacked him with bricks and knives. When Chandrashekhar came out after hearing the noise, he saw that the accused were attacking his brother.
When he ran towards the accused making noise, everyone ran away. Nand Kishore was taken to LNJP Hospital in injured condition, where he was declared brought dead. Chandrashekhar has told the police that his brother had told him the names of the accused before dying. Based on that the police is investigating.
