YouTube: There is a good news for the users who use YouTube Music. It happens many times when you feel like listening to a song, but you are not able to search it on the music app or any platform on the internet, because you do not remember the lyrics of that song.
You try to remember the lyrics by humming the tune of that song, but due to not being able to remember the exact words, many times you are not able to search that favorite song of yours. Now YouTube has eliminated this problem of its users.
Search song by singing tune
Actually, YouTube has prepared a new feature for its music platform YouTube Music, which it is going to introduce in its app very soon. Through this feature, you will be able to search any song on YouTube Music by singing it. This means that now you do not need to search the lyrics of the songs by writing them or by speaking them in voice search. If you remember the tune of that song, then you will be able to search the song by singing that tune.
However, let us tell you that Google had launched a similar feature in October 2020, but at that time that feature was available only in Google Search and Google Assistant app. Later, the company made its hum-to-search feature available in YouTube also and now the same feature has been made available in YouTube Music app also.
How to use?
According to a latest report by 9To5 Google, this new feature of YouTube Music has started coming in the Android app, but we did not find this new feature of YouTube Tube Music on our Android device. This means that the company has currently kept its feature in the testing phase and has rolled it out for selected users. However, the company may soon roll out this feature for all its users.
- To use this feature you can follow the steps given below.
- Update the YouTube Music app on your phone.
- After that open this app in your phone and go to the search icon at the top.
- Click on the mic icon next to the search bar.
- Now toggle the song button at the top.
- Now hum the tune of the song you want to search and then that song will be played.
