YouTube New Feature: Keeping its creators in mind, YouTube has rolled out a new tool called ‘Thumbnail Test & Compare’. YouTube has already brought many new updates for users. Thumbnail Test & Compare is a very useful feature. This tool will tell creators which thumb will be best for their videos.
The thumbnail of any video on YouTube should be very attractive. Unless your thumbnail is interesting, the user will not open your video and watch it. Due to which the creators’ videos will not get views. But with this tool coming on YouTube, you will be able to choose the best thumbnail.
When will it be rolled out?
YouTube has rolled out this tool in a phased manner. Due to which it may take some time to reach people. Desktop users can use this tool on YouTube Studio. For information, let us tell you that this tool will currently work only on long-format videos, livestreams and podcasts and it has not yet been made available on the YouTube app.
This is how Thumbnail Test & Care will work
To use this tool, creators can upload 3 thumbnails simultaneously in the uploaded video. After this, YouTube will display all three thumbs on your video and test them. Testing may take a few days or even 2 weeks. After which it will tell you which thumb is attracting the maximum audience to your video. After testing, the thumb that gets more traffic will be displayed as the winner.
Thumbnails can also be removed manually
After testing the thumbs, the thumb that attracts the most people will be automatically updated on the video. If it happens that you do not like the thumb chosen by YouTube, then you can manually change it and put a thumb of your choice. This tool will not be available on mature audiences, children’s videos and private videos.
