During an interview with News 18, Malavika said, ‘The film I have done with Siddhant Chaturvedi is made under the banner of Excel Entertainment and it is releasing next month. We will release the trailer in a few days. This is a completely different world as compared to ‘Thangalan’ and it is very interesting for me too. All these roles are so different from each other that it is good for an actor to be a part of so many different films.’

Malavika further said, ‘I hope more and more makers will watch me, so that they can see how I fit in different roles.’ Recently the release date of this film has been revealed. The film is going to be released in theaters on 20 September. The film is directed by Ravi Udaywar and its story is written by Sridhar Raghavan. The songs of this film are written by famous lyricist Javed Akhtar.
