Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 4: Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal starrer action thriller ‘Yudhra’ was a solo Bollywood release last week. Despite a good opening on National Cinema Day, the film flopped at the box office on the opening weekend and its earnings declined. How much did ‘Yudhra’ collect on the fourth day?
Siddhant Chaturvedi’s ‘Yudhra’ had created a lot of buzz before its release. The trailer of the film had increased the excitement of the fans about this movie. When ‘Yudhra’ hit the theatres this Friday, its opening was decent. After which the makers felt that the film’s business would pick up on Saturday and Sunday but the opposite happened. The film’s earnings saw a significant drop over the weekend. It is worth noting that a drop in the collection of any film at the box office on Saturday and Sunday is a bad sign. ‘Yudhra’s’ box office performance on the weekend has also been quite disappointing. Now the film’s collection is going to decrease even more in the weekdays.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Yudhra’ earned 4.5 crores on the first day of its release. On the second day, the film collected 1.75 crores. On the third day, ‘Yudhra’ earned 2.25 crores. Now the initial figures of the film’s earnings on the fourth day of its release, i.e. the first Monday, have come.
- According to the early trend report of Saccanilk, ‘Yudhra’ has earned 75 lakhs on the fourth day of its release i.e. on the first Monday.
- With this, the total collection of ‘Yudhra’ in four days has become Rs 9.26 crore.
It is difficult for ‘Yudhra’ to recover its cost
Directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, ‘Yudhra’ is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 50 crore. Given its current pace, it seems difficult for the film to last long at the box office. Although it will cross the 10 crore mark before the first week is over, it now seems impossible for it to recover half the cost. At present, this action thriller has become a loss-making deal for the makers.
