Zomato UPI Services: Zomato has started its UPI service. For this, the company has partnered with ICICI Bank. Zomato says that through the UPI service, the company wants to further improve the customer’s payment experience. Zomato UPI service launched
With the launch of Zomato UPI, the company wants to make payments easier for people. Under this service, you will be able to make payments easily from the Zomato app, but to do this you will have to create a new UPI ID by saving any bank account. This way, people who are using UPI platforms like Google Pay, Paytm or PhonePe to make payments will not need to be redirected to them.
Is Zomato UPI available to all?
Currently, Zomato UPI service is available for select users. You can check whether you have availed this service or not in the profile section of the app. It is being said that the company will rollout this service for almost all users in the coming times. On this basis, more banks are expected to be associated with Zomato’s UPI service. For the time being, Zomato Gold users can see it in the Settings section.
How to activate Zomato UPI?
Open the Zomato app. Go to the Profile section and scroll down to find the Zomato UPI section. In this, click on the Active Zomato UPI option. Now you have to give UPI ID. Then you have to verify your mobile number. After this, you will be asked to add a bank account to make the payment.
