17 out of 46 councilors have expressed opposition
If sources are to be believed, many senior leaders of Grand Alliance and BJP have entered the game of Zilla Parishad. The present Chairman Naina Kumari was appointed to the post of District Council President by the leaders of Grand Alliance. But after two years have passed, NDA leaders have started efforts to appoint a BJP leader to the post of Zilla Parishad President. Former Zilla Parishad President Karuna Kumari, wife of BJP state leader Amit Kumar, has been brought forward to occupy the post of Zilla Parishad President. But till now District Council Vice President Dr. Not a single candidate has come forward against Sheetal Prasad Yadav. Current and former District Council President Naina Kumari is making every effort to woo the councilors to retain her post. Recently, in the name of New Year, about 27 councilors were taken out of Gaya. BJP leader Amit Kumar, husband of former Zilla Parishad President Karuna Kumari, is busy visiting councilors’ doors to gather support.
Now the money game will start
A Zilla Parishad member, on the condition of anonymity, said that the two-year tenure of Chairman Naina Devi has been completed. Now a no-confidence motion can be brought. Keeping this in mind, a memorandum has been submitted to bring a no-confidence motion. Now the game of money has started to gather the support of councilors and magical figures. It has come to light that a candidate gave Rs 2 lakh to a councillor. At the same time, other candidates are also making many populist promises after giving money from their own level and occupying the chair of Chairman.
