According to the report of ANI, Rudra Veena has been manufactured by artisans living in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Its size is so big that even a human being will look small in front of it. According to the team that made it, this is the biggest Rudra Veena ever made. Let us tell you that this Veena is made from scrap (Veena scrap Bhopal). Its size is 28 feet long, 10 feet wide, 12 feet high and weighs 5 tons i.e. 5 thousand kg.

Veena is made in lakhs of rupees
Now let’s talk about the cost involved in making this Veena. It will cost up to Rs 10 lakh to make it. It took 6 months to make this complete Veena. This musical instrument is made from parts of vehicles like chain, cable, gear, ball bearing etc. 15 artists worked together on this Veena and all the parts were assembled after a long time, after which this Rudra Veena was made.
Veena made to promote Indian culture
Talking to ANI, an artist named Pawan Deshpande told that this Veena has been made under the theme of ‘Junk to Kanchan’. He said that 15 artists were engaged in collecting and designing the scrap, then it took them 6 months to make it. He said that today’s generation in India knows very little about Indian culture, so under this Veena they can learn more about Indian culture. Veena will be installed at such a place in the city where people can take selfies with her. This veena will be kept at Atal Path in Bhopal.
