Actually, here at Sarna Sthal, three women are worshiping Goddess Sarna by climbing 80 feet on a tree. Local people asked her to come down, but she clearly said that she would come down only after 9 days.
Actually, the names of these three women are Salgi Toppo, Nagi Toppo and Babi Toppo. All three of them have climbed the tree since last Thursday to worship Goddess Sarna. Now it will come down only after 9 days. People told that she gestured and told that at present all three of them have climbed up to do sadhana and they should not be disturbed too much.
Tree chosen for meditation
While guarding these people below, Santoshi Devi says, I live next door and seeing these people sitting above, we also sit below and keep guarding them. We have unwavering faith in Mother Sarna. We people worship nature. They worship water, forest and land, hence all three of them chose the lap of nature for their spiritual practice.

Santoshi Devi further said, to do sadhana, these three should have found many quiet and secluded places where no one would disturb them. That’s why he decided to go so high in the tree and meditate. No one has done this before, we are seeing this for the first time and it is very interesting to see. But, looking at their courage, it seems that Mother Sarna has some special blessings on them.
come down once early in the morning
Nearby Pritam Devi tells, all three of them come down around 4:00 in the morning and eat fruits. Below is the place of worship of Sarna Maa. Perform puja there. After the puja, she climbs again with the help of a stick. When she comes down from the top, there is no one around and then she sleeps in the tree at night. However, we warned them that there could be a fear of some untoward incident. But, their faith is unwavering that they are not ready to listen to anyone.
Will practice for 51 more days
Santoshi Devi told that for the time being she will climb a tree and meditate for 9 days. After that, she will come down and do worship and meditation for 51 days. Actually, she has made some vow, that is why she is especially doing sadhana. Seeing these, we also feel that maybe we too should do the same in the coming days.
