The application process for Common University Entrance Test (Cuet UG 2025) is going on. This process will run till 22 March, while the last date for depositing fees has been fixed on 23 March. This year, 340 universities have adopted this entrance examination, so that students will have more options for taking admission in graduation course.
UGC chairman gave this information
UGC Chairman M. Jagdish Kumar informed that the pressure on students will be reduced due to the national level examination through CUET. He told that if there are different entrance examinations for different universities, then students have to prepare for many examinations, which increases the mental and financial burden. However, this process has become simple and effective from the CUET system.
Participation is increasing every year
According to the UGC chairman, the number of universities adopting CUET is increasing rapidly in the last few years. This year 340 universities have come under this system, while the total number of universities in India is about 1,180. Every year more institutions are accepting this entrance examination, which is making it wide.
When will CUET UG 2025 exam be held?
The Cuet UG 2025 will be organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between 8 May to 1 June. The exam will be conducted in computer based (CBT) mode and will be conducted at examination centers across the country. Under this, the examination will be held in 13 languages English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi and Urdu.

With the increase in the number of universities adopting CUET, students will get more options. Now they will be able to enroll in various universities of the country through a uniform admission process, which will make it easier to select on the basis of merit.
