With the approval of the government, the way has been cleared for the inclusion of 35 new villages in the limits of BDA (Bareilly Development Authority). Five villages of Sadar tehsil, 14 of Aonla and 16 of Faridpur will now be part of the city. Now development work will be done rapidly in these villages. Now the people here will be able to get the map passed from the authority and get construction work done.
Along with this, the Nathdham and MSME township proposed by the authority on Badaun Road will also gain momentum. According to the officials, the scheme was not able to move forward because the concerned villages were not included in the BDA limits. The BDA will now start the work of land acquisition. In the demand survey conducted by the BDA, about 6,000 applications have been received from investors for these schemes. Now these projects will be able to come to fruition.
There will be rapid development
Now, development work will be carried out in the villages which have been included in the BDA limits using the funds coming from the infrastructure budget. According to the officials, whatever amount is received from map approval and compounding etc. in the villages which have been included in the authority limits, will be used for the development of those villages. Proposals can also be sent to the government to start new projects in these villages.
