Although the taste of Kachori can be found on every street corner in the city, but people come from far away places to taste the special Kachori at a small shop near Jhule Wali Imli in Rampur. The taste of Aloo ki Kachori made at this shop is so amazing that people from Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi and even Bengal have tasted it.

Potato Kachori
According to shopkeeper Habib, he started this roadside shop 5 years ago, but even today the taste of his cooking is still popular in the city. Here potato kachori is served with homemade spicy chutney, which increases the taste of kachori manifold. Customers keep coming from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, and many customers have been coming here to taste the kachori for years.

What is the price of Kachori?
Shopkeepers say that spicy food is very popular in Rampur. To make Aloo ki Kachori, first of all potato bharta is prepared. Then wheat flour is kneaded with lukewarm water. Homemade spices, washed green chillies, green coriander and chopped onion are mixed and small balls are made from the boiled potato mixture and stuffed in the dough ball. After this, they are rolled in a round shape and deep fried till they become golden brown. The price of Kachori starts from just Rs 5, and two Kachoris are served with green chutney for Rs 10.
