Sawan Kumar/Buxar: As soon as the name of Pani Puri i.e. Golgappa comes to mind, the mouth starts watering. People like the sweet and sour taste of Panipuri. Now you can taste Pani Puri with water of many flavors. If Golgappa is mixed with various types of chutneys and water, the fun doubles. After eating Golgappa, the mind and stomach get completely filled. If you are in Buxar and want to eat Pani Puri, then reach near Ambedkar Chowk of Buxar. Here you will find a Golgappa shop running on a cart named King of India. Where there is a huge crowd of people in the evening. People come here from far and wide to eat Golgappa. The specialty here is that chutney and water are available in many flavours.
You will get many types of water at Golgappa King of India shop. Here you will find sweet and sour, garlic flavour, spicy tamarind water, asafoetida water kept in different containers. The shopkeeper will mix potatoes and chickpeas in Golgappa and give it to you in a plate and you can take water as per your convenience. Golgappa King of India shop is run by a woman. Director Lakshmi feeds four golgappas to people for Rs 10. While talking to Local 18, he said that water of different flavors is kept in the paper so that people can consume it as per their convenience. Lakshmi told that she prepares water of different flavors for Golgappa herself. She also serves golgappas to people herself.
Earn more than three thousand rupees daily
Lakshmi told that every day from 3 pm to 9 pm, Golgappa stall is set up at Ambedkar Chowk. More crowd gathers after 5 pm in the evening. Lakshmi told that this business, which runs for four to five hours, earns more than Rs 3 thousand daily. Customer Vinod Singh told that Golgappa here is quite famous. Whenever people from Arrah, Patna, Banaras, Ghazipur come to Buxar, they go after eating Golgappa prepared by Lakshmi. Vinod told that he is a regular customer of this shop. Whenever we get time, we come here and eat golgappas and also get them packed for our children.
