Many devotees started climbing over each other in an attempt to run ahead, during which many devotees fell on the ground amidst the crowd and died of suffocation. It is noteworthy that on July 2 last year, a stampede broke out in Phulrai village of Sikandrarau area of Hathras after the satsang of Surajpal alias Bhole Baba alias Narayan Sakar Hari. In which 121 people died and more than 300 people were injured.
• There was a stampede after a fire broke out in the gaming zone in Rajkot, Gujarat on May 23 last year. In the accident in which 35 people died, in which the number of children was high.
