The name of the original Berlin patient was Timothy Ray Brown. Timothy was declared HIV-free in 2008. He was the first person. But Timothy died in 2020 due to cancer. Now the person who was completely cured of this disease came to know about HIV in 2009. After this, bone marrow transplant was done in 2015 due to leukemia. For your information, let us tell you that there is a risk of death up to 10 percent in this. During this treatment, the entire immunity of the person is replaced.
