In a recent meeting on Cyber ​​Security in the Financial Services Sector, the inclusion of banks and financial institutions on Financial Cyber ​​Fraud Information and Management System (CFCFRMS) platform through API (Application Programming Interface) integration and online fraud was discussed. Has gone.

In this meeting it was revealed that till now 19,776 numbers of people who have sent messages with wrong intentions have been included in the blacklist. Let us tell you that 10 percent fraud is related to bank accounts. Whereas 10 percent are related to ATM card and 16 percent are related to other activities.

Fake links also blocked

Not only this, the government has blocked more than 3 lakh SIMs involved in the scam. More than 500 people have also been arrested for fraud. According to the information, till now about 50 thousand IMEI numbers, 2194 URLs and 592 fake links have also been blocked. 

Cyber ​​fraudsters loot lakhs of rupees from people within a few hours. To avoid this, the government is running many campaigns. Now, to prevent fraud, those mobile numbers which were involved in fraud have also been blocked.

Scam prevention

Let us tell you that the (CFCFRMS) platform will be linked with the National Cyber ​​Crime Information Portal (NCRP), by doing this the bank will have better communication between the financial institutions and the police. To avoid online fraud and scam, do not click on the link coming on SMS or email from any unknown number, do not share your bank details with any unknown person.
