While talking to Daily Mail, 43-year-old Jonathan from Netherlands said that he wanted to do something meaningful in his life, that is why he decided to serve the society in this way. Actually Jonathan has been a sperm donor who is now retired. He donated sperm to hundreds of couples living in different countries, with the help of which they could become parents. But now the number of children has increased so much that parents have started fearing that in future their children may unknowingly get into a relationship with their own step-siblings.
Sperm donation started at the age of 26
Jonathan is a part-time musician and YouTuber. He said that he has met many of his children. They all look happy. Many of them have met their step-siblings and go on holidays with them. He said that his donor children know that he is their father, they know Jonathan’s name. Apart from this, Jonathan has carefully selected the parents to donate sperm. He claims that he is an open identity donor. He claims that in this way he ensured that his children can avoid inbreeding. Jonathan has been donating sperm since he was 26 years old. He estimates that he has about 550 children, although people believe that he has up to 1000. Once he adopted the traditional method to donate sperm to a woman, that is, he donated sperm to the woman after establishing a relationship with her. According to The Sun, now if Jonathan has one more child, he will have to pay more than Rs 91 lakh as fine.
