Indore: In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a pit dug by the municipal corporation was filled with rainwater, in which an innocent girl fell and started drowning. But, she did not panic and somehow mustered up courage and started trying to get out of the pit. Meanwhile, a boy came and helped her to succeed in this attempt, thus saving her life.

The Municipal Corporation and the concerned departments dig pits for construction work on the roads and for laying water and other pipelines, but later leave them open, which proves fatal. Accidents are happening due to rainwater filling in them. In Ammar Nagar of the city, a girl fell into one such water-filled pit and narrowly escaped drowning. This video is going viral.

The video of the girl falling into the pit is going viral on social media. It is seen in the video that the Municipal Corporation has dug up the roads in Ammar Nagar in a haphazard manner. Rainwater is also accumulated in them. In the video, an elderly woman and a girl are crossing the road to avoid the pit. During this, the girl puts her foot in the pit to measure its depth, but her foot slips and she starts drowning. During this, a boy passing by sees her and pulls her out of the pit. After the video went viral, the responsible people are now talking about taking action.

5 year old child died
Last year in July, a five year old child named Vansh Pandey died after drowning in a pit in Azad Nagar, Indore. This pit was dug for the Narmada pipeline. It was filled with rain water.

Impossible to see the hole
It has become a common thing now that many main roads and streets of the city get flooded during rains. Recently, the roads were flooded in the initial monsoon rains. The roads are not visible in the rain water and it is impossible to see the potholes on the road. In such a situation, there is a danger of drivers and pedestrians falling into them.
