When you buy a new car, you tell people about it but also take care that it does not suffer any damage. Many times the new car proves to be harmful. This happened with a person when he bought a Mercedes car. But his happiness turned into sorrow when it got stuck in the soft sand of a beach. On social media, people made fun of him instead of sympathizing with him.
A stranded driver was caught in the Morfa Bychan (Black Rock Sands) near Porthmadog in Gwynedd, Wales. Maritime services officers managed to rescue the vehicle before it was caught by the incoming tide and a tractor was eventually brought in to save the expensive new car.
Vehicles are permitted on Morfa Bychan but it is notorious for catching out unwary people. Now that the school holidays have begun, users are being advised to check tide times and not leave their vehicles unattended. A spokesman for Gwynedd Council, which is led by Welsh nationalist party Plaid Cymru, said: “Unfortunately this is not an uncommon occurrence, particularly during the busy holiday season.”

There are several signs on and near the beach warning motorists about the dangers of driving on the sand. According to North Wales Live, many social media users pointed this out in online sarcasm.
One witness said: “24-plate Mercedes. Tractor pulled it out, rear wheels locked! Oops.” He added a crying-laughing emoji. Another Facebook user said: “Money can buy nice cars but it can’t buy common sense.” A council spokesman said: “Vehicles can get stuck on this beach for a number of reasons. For example, cars attempting to park on the upper part of the beach where the sand is particularly soft, or being driven on the southern part of the beach where vehicles are not permitted.
