Many times when we go to a place, we find something there which we do not expect at all. Here we can find not only treasures but also some heart-breaking things. Something similar happened with a person who found a jar buried 6 inches below the sand. As soon as he opened the jar and looked inside, he started crying.
The man himself has written a post on Reddit saying that he was walking on the seashore when he found a strange thing buried under the sand. Since the metal detector had shown him this way, the man thought that there would be some treasure or something valuable here but there was something there that made him emotional.
The treasure was hidden 6 inches below the sand!
In his post, the man has told that he was walking on the Oregon beach. Then he started hearing a beeping sound from the scanner. As soon as he started digging, he found a jar 6 inches below the sand. When he opened the jar, he found a small bundle and a note inside. He thought that it would be some valuable thing or a treasure map but as soon as he opened the note, tears started flowing from his eyes. There was something here, which was opposite to his imagination.
The man started crying after reading the letter
Actually, the bundle contained the ashes of a young man who had died 10 years ago. His mother had written in the note – ‘These are the ashes of my son Steven Genberg. If you find them, please behave respectfully and put them back. Thank you, a grieving mother’. The man did the same and buried the jar back at the same place. The boy who died was 20 years old, who died in a collision with a police cruiser in British Columbia.
