Was doing. But someone gave information about this public meeting to Lord Fisher, the political agent of Naugaon Cantonment. After which Lord Fisher reached Paduka at the foot of Urmil river with his army. Where the British surrounded all the people holding the public meeting from all sides and then started firing indiscriminately. Shravan tells that Lord Fisher had fired 40 rounds of bullets and also did aerial firing.

However, the people holding the general meeting also carried sticks, axes and spears because they feared that the British might come here. Therefore, with the help of these weapons, one can run away after fighting the British. Ramsingh Parihar of Ragoli snatched the gun of the British and fired the first bullet at Lord Fisher.

Shravan tells that our father Thakur Prasad Tiwari was the landlord here at that time. After the Charan Paduka firing incident, the British also came to our house and told father that you are the landlord here and you did not inform the government about this public meeting. Therefore your house will be looted or your house will be demolished. After this, Sundar Lal Seth was shot in Gilauhan and firing was done in Bamhauri. Two bullets were fired in our house. When there was British rule, we had to pay 1500 rupees of silver as a fine to save the house.
The general meeting was held only with the help of landlord Thakur Prasad Tiwari.

Because there was a lot of poverty at that time. There were some other people like father who helped the people holding the public meeting. The general meeting of 14 January 1931 at Charan Paduka Singhpur was presided over by Sarju Prasad Yadav of Gilauhan.
Teacher Hemant Tiwari says that Chhatarpur Collector Hoshiar Singh has paid attention to the development of this historical place of Charan Paduka. It was he who built the martyr memorial and building. MLAs and ministers also come here every year but apart from the construction of a martyr’s memorial, no development has taken place here. Hundreds of people here have sacrificed their lives for the independence of the country. Yet only six are mentioned in the records.
