A road caved in on Monday in Vikas Nagar area of ​​the capital Lucknow. This is the fifth time in two years that a road collapse has occurred in the area. Due to this there is panic among the people.

On getting information about the matter, the Municipal Corporation team arrived and blocked the road by barricading around the pit. CCTV of the incident has been obtained in which it can be seen that after the passing of a truck, the road caved in and a crater about 20 feet long was formed.

Executive Engineer of Jal Nigam, Divyanshu Kumar Singh, who reached the spot, said that a pipeline has been laid here due to which such an incident has happened due to the removal of soil below. We are starting the repair action soon.

Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh also reached the spot and inspected. However, people are facing difficulties due to stoppage of traffic on the road.
