Doctor dies in road accident

A painful road accident has come to light in Sikarhatta Khurd under Sikarhatta police station area of the district. Here the truck crushed a rural doctor who was going on foot.
After the incident, the driver fled from the spot with the truck. After receiving information about the incident, the local police station reached the spot and took the body in its custody and got the post-mortem done at Ara Sadar Hospital.
The deceased is Demul Ram, 62, son of late Nithali Ram, resident of Sikarhatta Khurd village of Sikarhatta police station area. He was a rural doctor by profession and currently ran his own clinic in the village itself. Vijay Kumar, nephew of the deceased, told that they had gone out for a walk towards Nonadih turn. Then a truck coming at high speed overtook them and crushed them.
Family members reached on information
He died on the spot in the accident. After this, other villagers informed the family members about this incident. When the family members reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, they found him dead. The deceased was the youngest among his two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Kaushalya Devi, three daughters Neh, Mamta and Golu and two sons Ranjan Vikas and Ved Prakash.
