A bloody game was played between two gangs of teenagers in Sangam Vihar area of South Delhi. There were many teenagers on both sides. Everyone had knives in their hands. This bloody game continued for more than half an hour, but Sangam Vihar police did not even get a clue of it. Delhi Police Crime Branch has arrested five teenagers, claiming to have solved the mystery of the murder of a teenager in a gang war in two hours. This gang war took place to establish and increase the supremacy of their gang in Sangam Vihar. Police has recovered the knife used in the crime, blood-stained clothes and shoes.
According to Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Rakesh Pawaria, a violent clash broke out between two teenage groups on Sunday Bazaar Road in Sangam Vihar police station area on September 20 at 6:00 pm. One gang had five to six teenagers, while the other had four to five teenagers. All of them were armed with knives. One teenager was stabbed more than 15 times during the gang war. The teenager died in the hospital.
Another teenager got injured. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. On the complaint of the injured teenager, the Tigdi police station registered a case and started investigation. On the other hand, considering the seriousness of the case and the anger of the people, the team of Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya was entrusted with the task of catching the attackers under the supervision of ACP Naresh Solanki posted in the branch.
The police team led by Vijay Pal Dahiya solved the case within two hours and arrested five teenagers. During interrogation, it was revealed that this gang war and murder was the result of rivalry between two local gangs led by Islam and Hari Kishan. The deceased and injured teenager are associates of Islam. Islam is a local criminal involved in several cases of attempt to murder, robbery and violation of Arms Act. He is currently absconding. The arrested teenagers were associated with another local criminal Hari Kishan, who is currently in jail on murder charges. The deceased and injured teenagers were released from the juvenile home in August.
