Usually in cases of theft and robbery, the robbers enter the house and take whatever they get their hands on. The thief does not want to spend much time in a place which is not free from danger for him. Still, there are some thieves of a different kind, who forget what was the purpose of their coming here?

A thief from Rome did something amazing and now his story is all over the mainstream media and social media. He found someone’s house empty and reached there through the balcony. Now you would hardly have imagined that thieves and pickpockets read or write. However, this thief was different, who was caught while reading a book.

The whole story is interesting
According to Italian media reports, police have arrested a 38-year-old man from Rome’s Prati district, who is likely to be a thief. He had planned to enter a 71-year-old man’s house through the balcony and commit a theft. However, as soon as he reached the old man’s bedroom, his eyes fell on a book kept on the bedside table. He enjoyed this book based on geek mythology so much that he sat there and started reading it. When the owner woke up, he ran away as soon as he saw them, but later the police caught him. Although he told that he was not a thief and had entered the wrong house, a bag of expensive clothes was found with him, the police suspect that he had stolen them.

Which book was that, after all?
You must be wondering which is that book, which the thief became mad while reading. This book was “The Gods at Six O’Clock”. When this news reached the author of this book, Giovanni Nucci, he said – ‘I would like to meet the man who was arrested by the police while he was holding half of the book. I will gift him the book so that he can read it completely.’
