Kisun Das Baba Mandir Mohammadaba: Fish Tomb…Have you ever seen it? A question will come to mind that why would anyone build a fish mausoleum? But it is like this in a temple in UP. People still worship this Samadhi. Actually, we are talking about Kishun Das Baba Temple of Mohammadabad Gohna in Mau district of UP. Years ago, a fish mausoleum was built in the same temple premises.
A fish as big as a human!
Temple priest Ram Gyan Das says that people make vows in this temple. When the vow is fulfilled, people tie a bell here. About 150 years ago, a fish lived in a pond. Which was as big as a human. There used to be a priest in a temple built at a short distance from the pond, who was very fond of this fish. The tomb of this fish is built in this temple.
The priest told the whole story
The specialty of that fish was that whenever any kind of worship took place in the temple, it would come out of the water. As long as the puja was being performed, the fish remained sitting outside the water. After the puja was over, she would go into the water. Similarly, one day a Yagya was being performed in the temple and the fish was coming out of the pond and crossing the road and going to the temple. Then a vehicle hit the fish, due to which it died.

After this, Samadhi was made in this temple with full rituals. Where even today people worship. Even today no person is able to eat fish from this pond. Because whoever kills fish from this pond and takes it home, by the time they reach home, those fish get infected with insects.
