The incident took place in Bhujouli village of Vijayipur police station area of Gopalganj district. The deceased has been identified as Deva Ram, 22-year-old son of Kamal Ram. The family has accused the criminals of calling him from home and brutally killing him. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started investigating the case.
According to the family members, Deva Ram used to work in a private company in Delhi. He had come home on leave a week ago. On Friday morning, he got a call from someone and he left the house. After this, no trace of the young man could be found.
The family members including the deceased’s father Kamal Ram became worried and started searching. Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, the body of the missing youth was found under a culvert at a distance of 300 meters from the house. According to the family members, there was no enmity with anyone, who committed the murder and what was the reason, it could not be revealed. At the same time, the police of Vijayipur police station has started the process of registering an FIR of murder against unknown criminals. In this case, SDPO of Hathua, Anand Mohan Gupta said that the police will soon reveal the murder and arrest the criminals. At the same time, there is an uproar among the victim’s family after the murder. The family members are crying inconsolably.
