On 29th July, around 9 am, a man from Chandiyana Rampur village of Pali Mukimpur police station hanged himself to death. Before committing suicide, he made a video in which he blamed his mother-in-law, brother-in-law, brother-in-law’s wife and brother-in-law’s son. In the video, the man is demanding strict action against all four from the Chief Minister. A case has been registered against all four in this matter. After this, he hanged himself from a fan in his house. Police reached the spot on receiving the information and sent the body for post-mortem.

Station House Officer Akhilesh Pradhan said that based on the complaint of Dhanpal, brother of the deceased Manpal (45), a report has been filed against the deceased’s wife Babli, as well as Shivkumar son of Kallu Singh, Neetu wife of Shivkumar, Shivrani wife of Kallu Singh, residents of Mandalpur, police station Dholna, district Kasganj and Dharmendra son of Pappu Singh, resident of village Kharauwa.
Wife is living in her mother’s house with her son
Villagers said that Manpal was having a dispute with his wife for many years. For about four years, his wife has been living with her 10-year-old son at her maternal home in village Mandalpur of police station Dholna in district Kasganj. His wife had also filed a dowry harassment case in district Kasganj itself. On July 26, the court verdict came in favor of Manpal. After this, he was constantly calling his wife, but his wife did not come. His in-laws were also not sending his wife. He was upset by this.
