A young man was shot dead in broad daylight in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. When the news spread, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People informed the police about it. The police reached the spot after getting the information and gathered information by inspecting the spot. It was told that a woman and the bike riders have fled from the spot.
The incident took place near the Rohta canal on the Agra-Gwalior highway in Malpura police station area. The body of the youth was lying in the middle of the canal road. People passing by saw it at around 2 pm. When the news spread in the area, a crowd of people gathered. Mobile and purse were lying near the body.
Police reached the spot on information and investigated. Aadhar card was found in the purse. The name of the person on the Aadhar card is Brajveer Singh (40), resident of Ghaziabad. Two visiting cards were also found in the purse. One of the cards has the address of a dry cleaner in Sadar police station area. The bullet hit the youth below the chin. The bullet passed through the neck upwards and pierced the skull.
ACP Achhnera Poonam Sirohi and DCP Western Zone Sonam Kumar also reached the spot. The forensic team has collected evidence. The SOG and police station team are scanning the nearby CCTVs. People told that the youth had eaten food at a nearby dhaba. The police is investigating. There is a buzz that a woman has also fled from the scene. Other people have fled towards Jakhoda village on bikes.
