Palghar: What does a person do for hunger? Similar is the situation of fishermen. They have to risk their lives and go into deep water to catch fish. This work is not as easy as we think. Sometimes they even have to risk their lives. In a similar incident, a young man badly injured is fighting a battle between life and death. A surprising incident has happened to this young man who was fishing in the river.
The incident took place in Manor area of Palghar district of Maharashtra. Here a shark bit the leg of a young man who was fishing in the river. A giant shark was found in the Vaitarna River near the Manor and there was a lot of excitement among the citizens of the area to see this fish. Vicky Gowari, a 32-year-old man, had also gone fishing in the river around noon. But at that very moment a giant fish weighing more than 200 kg attacked him and bit his leg.
This incident spread like wind in the area and the citizens of the area rushed towards the spot. A part of this young man’s leg was eaten by a fish and after first aid, the seriously injured young man was sent to Vinoba Bhave Hospital in Dadra Nagar for further treatment.
Medical officials have said that the condition of this young man is critical. There was a flood in the sea and this giant fish has come to the river bed with the flood water. After the flood water receded in the evening, the local people took out this dead fish from the river bed.
