A young man died on the spot after being hit by an uncontrolled vehicle near Dighwa turn in Baikunthpur police station area of Gopalganj district of Bihar. The young man was going to the medical shop to get his wife’s medicine. Meanwhile, after getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital Gopalganj for post-mortem. The deceased youth has been identified as Ranjan Bhagat (33), son of Bhagelu Bhagat, resident of Matinia village of Baikunthpur police station area.
According to the information, the health of Ranjan Bhagat’s wife had deteriorated. Ranjan was going on foot to the medical store located in the nearby market to buy medicines for his wife. He had just reached near Deeghwa turn when an uncontrolled unknown vehicle hit him hard from behind. As soon as the collision occurred, he fell on the spot and got seriously injured. As soon as information about the accident was received, a crowd of people gathered at the spot.
It is being told that by the time the people present at the spot could take him to the hospital, he died on the spot. People nearby immediately informed the Baikunthpur police. The police reached the spot and identified the youth and informed the family members. After getting the information, the family immediately reached there and after seeing the dead body, they started screaming and crying. The entire atmosphere became sad due to the crying and wailing of the family members. Meanwhile, the police sent the body to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
It is being told that the deceased used to fill petrol at a petrol pump in Siwan by profession. Ranjan got married five years ago. He has three children, from whose heads the shadow of their father is gone forever. The deceased was the youngest among five brothers. There is chaos in the family after this accident. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
