Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi, after becoming an MP, reached here for the first time with sister Priyanka Gandhi and met the workers of Rae Bareli and Amethi and thanked everyone for making them win the elections. In the gratitude meeting at Bhuemau Guest House, Rahul made sharp attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi one after the other. He said that the people of India have given a new vision. He said that in the 2024 elections, the people have voted against violence, lies and arrogance. The people of BJP were talking about changing the Constitution but the people have forced them to touch the Constitution to their foreheads.
Rahul said that India has sent a message that I don’t want hatred and violence. I want a shop of love. People have rejected BJP. People have strengthened India Alliance i.e. Samajwadi Party and Congress. Where they spread hatred, we have to open a shop of love there. Rahul said sarcastically that they lost the Ayodhya seat. Ram temple was built, but there was not a single poor person at its inauguration. There was no farmer, backward, Dalit. There was not even a tribal President. Apart from Adani and Ambani, the entire Bollywood was there. The people of Ayodhya have answered this neglect. The Prime Minister has escaped from Varanasi saving his life.

Pointing towards Priyanka Gandhi present on the stage, he said that if Priyanka had contested the election from Varanasi, Modi would have lost by two-and-a-half lakh votes. I am not saying all this with arrogance. The people have rejected the vision of the Prime Minister of India. We do not want violence and hatred. In the coming time, real issues will be raised. In the coming time, issues of unemployment, inflation, farmers and laborers will be raised.
He said that the army of India Alliance is sitting in the Parliament. This time we will try to cancel the Agniveer scheme because you have given so much power. Along with giving political vision, you have voted for change. Rahul Gandhi said that I also want to tell the people of Amethi that I am the MP of Rae Bareli, but the development that will happen in Rae Bareli will also happen in Amethi. You have changed the politics of India from your heart. You have given a message to the whole country that we are against hatred. We will open the shop of love.

We have the oldest relationship with Rae Bareli-Amethi
Rahul Gandhi said that we have a very old relationship with Rae Bareli and Amethi. It started about 100 years ago when Jawaharlal Nehru came here for the farmers’ movement. This is a deep relationship which exists now and will always remain.
