It was found that Alexander Tmitriy, a Russian national, had arrived in Kochi, India from Malaysia on January 29, 2020, on a 90-day tourist visa. 90 days tourist visa was given. It was valid till 21 January 2021. Meanwhile Corona came. The Government of India had given the exit permit till 30 September 2021. After this, instructions were also given to leave India. After this he was spending time illegally in many states of India.
Nava reached Nalanda Mahavihara on 2 July
The police station said that the detained Russian citizen had reached Nava Nalanda Mahavihara on July 2 to do Vipassana in a 10-day Vipassana camp. Here, under the process, all the original documents were demanded by Professor Dipankar Lama of Vipassana Center. He could not produce the original document. It had photocopies of documents (visa and passport). At the same time, an Aadhaar card of Bengal has been found. The Mahavihar administration informed the police. The SHO said that the detained citizen had also tampered with the visa. The year 2021 has been diverted to 2024. A case has been registered in this matter under the Foreigners Act. Aadhaar card is also not issued to foreign nationals on tourist visa. In such a situation, it seems that Aadhaar card has also been made in a fake way. A case has been registered and is being presented in the court.
