In the meeting of the National Executive of National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS) held in Delhi on Sunday, further agitation for restoration of old pension was announced. It was decided that on September 26, there will be an outrage march against UPS/NPS at all the district headquarters of the country.
The national president of the organization, Vijay Kumar Bandhu, said that teachers and employees are ready to fight a do-or-die battle for the restoration of the old pension. In this sequence, a national convention will be organized in Delhi on December 15. The outline of the programs for the new year will be made in the national convention itself.
It was also decided in the meeting that Vote for OPS campaign will be run in the states having assembly elections, Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand.
National General Secretary Sthit Pragya told that in the meeting, National Secretary Parmanand Dehariya was made in-charge of Chhattisgarh and Vijendra Dhariwal was made in-charge of Chandigarh to take the movement forward in Chhattisgarh.
