Junaid Khan On Dyslexia: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s elder son Junaid Khan is ready to prove his acting prowess on the big screen. In 2024, he was seen in the film ‘Maharaj’, although this film was released on Netflix. Now Junaid will be seen in theaters through ‘Loveyapa’. Meanwhile, the actor has revealed that because of the film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, his parents Aamir and Reena Dutta came to know about one of his diseases.
The film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was released in the year 2007. This film shows the story of a child struggling with dyslexia. In a recent interview given on Vicky Lalwani’s YouTube channel, Junaid Khan revealed that only after listening to the script of ‘Taare Zameen Par’, his father Aamir and mother Reena came to know that their son is also a victim of dyslexia.

On the question whether Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta were strict with Junaid Khan regarding studies, Junaid said- ‘None of my parents were particular about my results. I was also diagnosed with dyslexia long ago. So I think they were especially alert about it during their school days.
Aamir-Reena came to know about Junaid’s illness after listening to the script of the film.
Junaid Khan was further asked whether Aamir Khan’s illness was the reason for making ‘Taare Zameen Par’. On this Junaid said- ‘Actually I think it was a slightly different way. When they heard the script of Taare Zameen Par, they said one second, we have seen this in our lives and that was the time when they took me to a specialist and found out that I had dyslexia.
Junaid Khan further said- ‘It was very early. I must have been 6 or 7 and I got a lot of help in the beginning. So it didn’t have that much impact on me growing up. So in that respect, I guess I was lucky.

Let us tell you that Junaid Khan will be seen romancing Khushi Kapoor in his upcoming film ‘Loveyapa’. This film will be released in theaters on 7 February 2025. Apart from this, Junaid will be seen in the film ‘Ek Din’ with South actress Sai Pallavi. This film may hit the screens by the end of this year.
